Updates to Contacts

Over the last few days we have been making many changes to the way that contacts are used and managed in Yendo Accounts.

The changes should make it a lot easier for you to manage large numbers of contacts.

To start with we’ve added categories to contacts. this means that you can group your contacts under the same categories as your invoices.
We’ve also added a new Source field to help you identify where your contacts come from (website leads, referrals, advertising…). We’ll be adding some new reports in the coming days to help you analyse revenue by source.

There is also a new tab under Contacts now to allow you to manage the different companies your contacts are from. In this way you can have several contacts from the one company each perhaps representing a different department.

The most visible change is that we have added an ability to include an image/logo for both contacts and their companies. This should make it easier for you to identify different contacts from within long lists.
